In Convergence, creative ideas sit stagnant across the world. Then one idea arrives from the least likely place and triggers a cosmic event. The project started with photogrammetry as a technical route for inspiration. The scan holds the thing exactly, and something in it goes wrong anyway. At the same time, the mood around Britain's exit from the EU shaped the story. That moment surfaced a real cultural gap between the North and the South of England. The film asks a simple question. What if the North held the good idea all along? The flat-roofed pub became the emblem of the North. From there, the rest is pixels.
