A closer look revealed a decentralized finance project on Ethereum with an unusually devoted community. yAxis extends current smart-contract technology while it puts real weight on user experience. One token opened a whole world, the way these things tend to. The film centers on Era One, the first of four, described on the yAxis blog as a medieval period. It marks the early growth and the long life of the protocol. Built entirely in Unreal Engine and Cinema 4D, with music and sound design by Robin Schlochtermeier. A meme opened the door, and the door led somewhere real.
