Reliance, is an animated odyssey rendered in Unreal Engine 5. In this short, a telepathic alien, marooned on a desolate planet, reaches out to us with its mind. The story, inspired by AI's leaps and mysterious UFO downing incidents of early 2023, invites viewers into a journey through the eyes of an extraterrestrial intelligence.
Reliance explores themes of isolation, the quest for connection, and our interdependence with the vast universe.
Built using Rokoko Studio, Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter and Cinema4D.
